Head of the Col·laboratori and Social Media Lab
As head of the Col·laboratori, I explore and reinforce the links which Citilab has with various communities at different levels, from local to international level, as I also coordinate European projects. I have been responsible for several projects, in which Citilab has contributed its expertise on living labs, co-creation and methodologies, tools and innovation skills (iCity, Pelars, JamToday and Mind the Gap, Future DiverCities).
After completing high school studies in science, I studied at theEscola Massana (1995-1998). During this period, I collaborated as scriptwriter, producer and director of the topical nights of the innovation docu-show of BTV. I then trained in technical management of audiovisual and performance production atEMAV (1998-2000). In 2000 , I founded a group of direct video projections, while continuing my degree in Audiovisual Communication (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), 2000-2004). After graduating, I took an introductory doctorate course (2005) and started research into audiovisual laboratories at the UAB. In 2007, I became coordinator of the thematic programme of the Rectorate Office and of Live Culture, where events and conferences were programmed, with renowned scientific figures from a range of disciplines. I directed several audiovisual productions for the UAB. Since 2007, I am associate professor of the department of communication sciences of the UAB.
