On Friday, November 10th, Citilab invites all citizens to the 10th anniversary celebration. This year, this pioneering social and digital innovation laboratory in Catalonia and Spain adds up to 10 years since the opening of its headquarters on November 23, 2007 in the former Can Suris factory.
Do you want to be surprised and be a part of collaborative artistic activities? Do you want to discover in a dynamic and entertaining way the world of innovation and co-creation? We are waiting for you on 10th of November at Citilab to celebrate our 10th anniversary!
The history of Citilab
The initiative took shape in 2007 by a group of citizens who, enthusiastic about the opportunities offered by the new technologies and led by Vicens Badenes, promoted the first European citizen laboratory. This idea was absolutely innovative, as it was a space that focused its work on exploring and disseminating the digital impact on creative thinking, design and innovation of digital culture. This space finally was installing at Can Suris Square in Cornellà de Llobregat.
In this way, Citilab has become a mix between a training center, a research center, an incubator of business and social initiatives and also a digital center of citizen innovation where users are invited to come to Investigate, undertake and innovate collaboratively and integratively.
If you have formed part of Citilab’s history or would like to start discovering it, be sure you do not miss out on the 10th of November!
