As every summer, Citilab has opened its doors to summer camps, groups of individuals and families to offer a new edition of Tecnoestiu. This year the technological activity of the summer has received more than 190 participants who have enjoyed activities that have combined robotics, programming, art and television.
The main character of the Tecnoestiu this year has been the DiBot, the robot artist and painter that has been designed and built at Citilab. The Tecnoestiu participants have programmed the DiBot with the Snap4Arduino and have controlled the movements through a tablet.
To improve the control of DiBot, children have competed in obstacle races and have enhanced their creativity by painting abstract murals with small robot painters. Summaries, images and videos of all visits have been included in the Tecnoestiu blog.
Before leaving, all the participants have gone to the set to get closer to the world of television production and know the operation of the chrome with the activity InventaTV. Once in front of cameras, children and adults have lost their shame and have explained their experience to Citilab. You can see this playlist of videos.
Citilab has offered the Tecnoestiu day every morning from Monday to Friday from June 26 to July 27, showing another year more than robotics and programming are not at odds with the fun.
Good summer, Tecnoestiu! And until next year!
