This Wednesday, March 29th, Citilab hosted the II edition of the Apropa Fair. At 09:30 a.m., the start of the day took place and the students from the various centers from Cornellà filled the place of Can Suris with vitality and laughter.
Around 400 boys and girls of 4th of ESO, Bachelor’s degree, Training Cycles and PFI from Cornellà schools attended this meeting and advisory space for recycling and professional and academic guidance.
This event, organized by the City Council of Cornellà with the collaboration of various centers and entities of the municipality, highlighted the training offers of Cornellà with the aim of helping young people to take a path thinking about their future .
In the Can Suris square, various information points and workshops welcomed young people who wanted to resolve doubts or participate actively in any activity. The different institutes of the municipality, the Official School of Languages of Cornellà, the University of the Elderly and the Adult Training Center of Cornellà, among other entities, informed the assistants about their educational offer.
Eyeglasses of virtual and augmented reality, Scratch programming for Arduino, AppInventor, Internet of Things or FMIC drones were other proposals that Citilab put on the table to promote the scientific-technological vocations and innovation among young people. On the other hand, the workshops of gardening, cooking, hairdressing and aesthetics, commerce and papyroflexy were filled throughout the morning by curious students who wanted to try new skills.
The great range of talks also attracted a large number of audiences: cyberbullying and cyberadication, virtual reality and video games or the artistic bachelor’s degree were some of the issues that aroused more interest. In addition, in orientation conferences, young people could receive personalized attention from professionals.
