Vision is a Europe-wide project and part of the Youth in Action programme. The project strives to reflect on and produce multimedia teaching resources and learning methodologies, guiding young people towards mastering tools and working processes that enable them to create and communicate, express and inform themselves. Therefore, the project revolves around adapting and inventing a wide range of tools and devices to help young people develop a better grasp of the processes involved in creating multimedia content and a critical sense in using the tools at their daily disposal. It is important that this tool box be as broad in technological scope as possible in order to expand young people's horizons and help them integrate a whole range of possibilities, given that their current use of technology is relatively narrow (limited use of chat, blogs, messaging, browsing confined to a few pages, etc.).
The project is carried out on a national and European scale within a framework of network cooperation in order to achieve greater audience diversity. Special attention is given to reaching groups of people who a priori are in social, economic or educational situations that make them more vulnerable than other groups; people who are isolated from or largely uninvolved in local democratic life. Through workshops, the young people who make up the target group of this initiative will get involved in our work. They are both the beneficiaries and principal players of these workshops.
Project Objectives:
To create a network of participants, who are involved and interested in the development of ICT use in the teaching process. To create the structure for an educational, multimedia resource in collaboration with our partners. To create multimedia innovators, educational resources: 8 creative, teaching games. To determine the procedures governing the use of resources on a local level. To define the dissemination and distribution methods of resources in educational kits.
